Dried Lamb Ears (No Hair)

Price range: £0.55 through £8.99

Description

Dried Lamb Ears dog treats are natural, air-dried chews made from 100% lamb ears, free from additives, preservatives, gluten, wheat, and artificial ingredients.
They are high in protein and low in fat, making them suitable for dogs on weight management or those with sensitive stomachs.
These treats are considered hypoallergenic because lamb is a less common protein source, reducing the risk of allergic reactions in dogs with sensitivities to other proteins like beef or chicken.

These treats offer several health benefits. Chewing on them helps promote dental health by reducing plaque and tartar buildup through the mechanical action of chewing, which stimulates saliva production.
They are also rich in natural collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin, which support joint health and are beneficial for dogs with arthritis or joint issues,
and, additionally, the high protein content aids in muscle repair and growth, while the low fat content makes them a nutritious option for dogs with dietary restrictions.

Protein: Ranges from approximately 57.7% to 82.8%, making them an excellent source for muscle maintenance and tissue repair.
Fat: Generally low, typically between 7.2% and 29.3%, with many low-fat varieties (around 8.9%) suitable for weight management or puppies.
Moisture: Very low, usually between 3.5% and 8%, due to the air-drying process.
Fibre: Contains dietary fibre ranging from 4.9% to 5.2%, which aids in digestion and bowel regulation.
Ash (Minerals): Typically around 3% to 7.8%, indicating the mineral content including naturally occurring glucosamine and chondroitin which support joint health.
Collagen: Naturally high in collagen, supporting skin, coat, and connective tissue strength.

Available as single ears.
Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age.
